We designed the brand identity for Koura, a Mexico City interior design studio. Founded by three passionate partners their name, "Koura" meaning "gold" in Maori, embodies their core philosophy: fostering personal and professional growth for both their team and their clients. 
While gold is often associated with luxury we intentionally chose a different path for their brand identity. They recognized that the traditional symbolism of gold might not fully capture their core values and we wanted to steer aways from that.
We found inspiration in alchemy, the ancient belief that any element can be transformed into gold. This concept beautifully aligns with Koura's design philosophy: unlocking the full potential of both the spaces they design and the people they work with.
Koura's taglines, capture the essence of their design philosophy. They believe that true transformation begins within, and that interior design can be a powerful catalyst for positive change.
Koura creates spaces that are not only beautiful, but also functional and conducive to well-being. They believe that by transforming
the spaces we inhabit, we can also transform our lives.
